Senpai Lexi Taylor

Senpai Lexi Taylor has been with Shouri Karate Club from day one. Her dedication, commitment and passion are three amazing attributes this young talent has. Lexi competed in the World Championships in Dundee 2023 and won Silver medal alongside her team members from AKA Great Britain. She narrowly missed out on semi finals for her Kumite too. Lexi is an absolute asset to our club and helps encourage all students who all look up to her as a role model. Lexi has been awarded Certified Junior Instructor qualification due to her hard work ethic, skill and technical ability that i have seen grow over the last year at the club. Lexi will work alongside Sensei Amy to help grow and develop the next generation of karateka. Pushing their kihon, kata and kumite. Lexi's background is Shitoryu/ Shukokai but over the course of being at the club her shotokan knowledge has developed. This superstar has a great inspirational energy that is contagious and helps inspire all students. I am excited to see her grow and evolve in her new role whilst also pushing herself.
